Editorial Policy
The European Post is an independent research institute and policy media organisation engaged in the research, analysis, and coverage of European policy, diplomacy, and strategic affairs. Its work addresses the full scope of EU governance across all member states, candidate countries, and Europe’s relationships with the world. Coverage priorities are determined by current policy significance and analytical relevance.
The institute produces four forms of content. The Bulletin is the daily factual record of European affairs, reported with precision, attributed throughout, and carrying no editorial perspective. Research and Analysis provides structured analytical examination of current developments, their implications, and their strategic weight, produced by named analysts and research fellows. Opinion publishes the considered arguments of senior policy experts, former officials, and academics, identified in full on every piece. The Editorial is the institutional voice of The European Post, published every Monday without individual attribution, with the deliberation and restraint that institutional speech demands.
The distinction between these four forms is absolute. Reporting does not interpret. Analysis does not advocate. Opinion does not speak for the institute. Editorial does not report.
The European Post does not publish anonymous contributions, advocacy, or speculation in the register of established fact. It does not take positions in electoral or partisan contests. It does not subordinate its editorial judgment to any external consideration. These are not policies subject to revision. They are the constitutive commitments of an institution whose credibility depends entirely on their unconditional maintenance.
Every piece published is factual, attributed, and composed to the highest standard the institute can bring to bear. Corrections are published with the same prominence as the original content. No financial relationship of any kind confers influence over any editorial decision.
